This piece is based on the teachings of Rabbi Bunim of P'shiskha who said that every person should have 2 pockets. In each pocket, they should place a piece of paper. On one piece should be written "The world was created just for me." When one is feeling disheartened and lowly, they should reach into this pocket, take out the slip of paper and read it. On the other piece, it should be written "I am but dust and ashes." When one is feeling too proud, they should reach into this pocket, take out the slip of paper and read it.

The original is a papercut and measures 19 1/4" x 23 3/4". The postcards are designed so they can easily be cut in half and kept in separate pockets.
