| Jason proposed to Ami through an add in the Chicago Reader. The copy of the actual add is mounted behind the papercut at bottom center, behind a cutting of their two hands. They are wearing their wedding bands with their names on them. On either side of their hands, are papercut chains of children representing family. At the top, there is a line of trees with various animals symbolizing the Lincoln Park Zoo, where their reception was held after their wedding. The center section is designed around a symbol of the sun, with the text and different aspects of their lives together, between the rays. |
