The text is in the shape of a tablecloth. There is a challah and candlesticks sitting on this table, representing Shabbat. The four people dancing around the table represent family and friends. Above the left most figure is a needle and thread. These symbols, along with musical notes and the sun, are all contained within the shape of a house. Outside of this house, to the right, is a family tree made up of the couple. Within the leaves of the tree are a menorah, honey and an apple and hearts. Above the house is Jerusalem. When Jerusalem is shown at the top of a Ketubah, as it is here, it represents heavenly Jerusalem. Also above the house, to the left, is a spiral. (See Creation for an explanation of spirals symbolism.) The spiral is made up of micro-calligraphy of a quote by the Baal Shem Tov. The image to the right of the tree is based on a sculpture of two figures embracing.
